Elmvale Sour

1.5 oz Georgian Bay Vodka
0.75oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
0.5oz Simple Syrup
1 Egg White
3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Garnish: Freshly Grated Grapefruit

Don’t let the egg white scare you – it’s going to add some nice texture to your cocktail. To begin, chill a cocktail glass with ice and set aside. Add all the ingredients except bitters to a shaker and dry shake (no ice) for 45 seconds to emulsify the egg white. Add a half scoop of ice to the shaker and continue shaking another 20 seconds. Discard ice from the cocktail glass and fine strain the drink. Garnish with three dots of Angostura bitters and create a playful pattern with a toothpick.
